Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound examinations in inpatient and outpatient settings under radiologist supervision. The role requires ARDMS certification within one year and a minimum of one year of ultrasound experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasonography or Radiological Technology program.
• ARDMS registration within one year of hire date.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience in diagnostic ultrasound.
• Verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform all ultrasound techniques and exams per patient age and setting.
• Gather clinical data and maintain accurate patient records.
• Complete records, paperwork, and billing promptly.
• Position and transfer patients; assist physicians with interventional exams.
• QC images and send exams to PACS for radiologist review.
