You will operate ultrasound equipment, document findings in EMR/PACS, and ensure infection control standards are met. Qualifications include knowledge of ultrasound physics, ability to work with pediatric to geriatric patients, and BLS with ARRT or equivalent certifications.

Qualificações

• Detailed knowledge of ultrasound physics and anatomy.
• Ability to operate Radiology software and PACS.
• Proficient in patient care across age groups.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and data entry.

Responsabilidades

• Performs ultrasound exams per orders and protocols.
• Verifies patient identity and exam appropriateness.
• Positions patients and selects transducers for optimal images.
• Maintains EMR/PACS documentation.
• Explains procedures and ensures patient comfort and privacy.
• Educates patients and completes exams timely.
• Operates imaging equipment safely, adapting for all ages.
• Follows infection control and PPE guidelines.
• Collaborates with radiologists for imaging continuity.
• Keeps rooms clean and stocks equipment.
• Notifies when inventory is low.
• Produces high-quality studies for radiologist interpretation.
