Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a part-time Ultrasound Technologist to support the Radiology department with diagnostic ultrasound exams. The patient-focused role requires ARDMS/ARRT certification and BLS, emphasizing high-quality image acquisition and safety. PRN Monday–Saturday 1st shift with base pay at $42/hour.

Qualifications

• Certified by ARDMS or ARRT is required.
• Graduate of a comprehensive medical diagnostic ultrasound program preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient.
• Assists Radiologist in performance of invasive procedures.
• Evaluates technical quality of exam and improves efficiency in the department.
• Supports Patient-Centered Care Philosophy by treating patients with compassion.
• Reports equipment issues to supervisor or engineers.
• Operates Radiology computer system for entering and charging exams/supplies.
• Maintains neat, stocked work area and adheres to department rules.
