Job summary

AdventHealth in Hendersonville, NC is seeking a Radiology Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality ultrasound studies on a PRN Day shift. You will acquire images, document findings, and coordinate with radiologists to ensure accurate interpretation.

Responsibilities include patient education, infection control, and maintaining EMR/PACS documentation while working with a team to ensure timely, safe care for patients of all ages.

Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of ultrasound physics and anatomy.
• Ability to read and interpret radiology orders and patient history.
• Proficient in using PACS and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and analyze ultrasound images for radiologist interpretation.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and in accordance with protocols.
• Educate patients about the exam and ensure privacy and comfort.
