Job summary

AdventHealth Arden, NC is seeking an ultrasound imaging technologist for a PRN Day-Weekend schedule. You will perform ultrasound exams on patients of all ages, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to safety and infection control standards.

You will operate imaging equipment, participate in performance improvement projects, and train new technologists and students. A positive team attitude and ability to learn radiology software are essential. BLS is required; RDCS preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of hospital or private practice imaging experience.
• RDCS preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and manages daily workflow, including patient communication, transportation, and discharge.
• Follows infection control standards and handles pharmaceutical waste according to training.
• Participates in data collection and performance improvement projects.
• Performs quality assurance on imaging equipment and report any issues promptly.
• Performs ultrasound imaging exams on patients of all age groups, ensuring high-quality results.
• Operates specific imaging equipment proficiently and adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
• Educates and trains new technologists and students on imaging procedures and equipment use.
