UF Health in Gainesville, FL seeks a PRN Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound studies in a clinical environment, including abdominal, vaginal, and OBGYN exams. The tech will coordinate exam setup, assist physicians, document charges, and maintain compassionate communication with patients.

The ideal candidate has formal Ultrasound Technology training, ARDMS certification or eligibility in OB/GYN, NT and CLEAR certifications within one year, and proficiency with diagnostic imaging

Qualifications

• Graduate of formal education and training in Ultrasound Technology program.
• Must be registered (ARDMS) member or eligible with OB/GYN certifications.
• Nuchal translucency (NT) and CLEAR certifications required within one year of hire.
• Must have working knowledge of a wide variety of diagnostic equipment.
• Those hired after one year of graduation must complete certification within six months.
• Minimum two years experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) required or must be obtained within first ninety days of employment.
• Must maintain current Basic Life Support (CPR). BLS certification must be secured through the AHA or Red Cross.
