RadNet in Beverly Hills, CA is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join a dedicated team delivering high-quality ultrasound imaging and patient care. You will work with radiologists, assist in biopsies, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards while maintaining patient privacy and professional conduct.

The role emphasizes clinical excellence, teamwork, and sensitivity to patient needs within a fast-paced healthcare setting. ARDMS SPI and BLS certifications are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Completed Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma.
• SPI exam passed or Registry eligible preferred.
• ARDMS certifications or Registry Eligible preferred.
• Must have BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in strict accordance with department policies and procedures while complying with all regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures if needed.
• Understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the theory and operation of the instruments that detect, display, and store acoustic information.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Demonstrates competency regarding safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards on-site medications in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including cash and patient information on-site or on portals.
• Responds to the needs of others with professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respects patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Interacts diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establishes, nurtures, and maintains cooperative working relationships.
