Job summary

RadNet in Glendale, CA is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality ultrasound examinations and assist radiologists with biopsies, while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

You will operate ultrasound equipment, maintain patient records, protect PHI, and collaborate with care teams in a fast-paced setting. ARDMS eligible or certified and BLS are required. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have completed their Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma.
• Passed SPI exam.
• Current ARDMS certifications or ARDMS Registry Eligible preferred.
• Must have BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with department policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures.
• Understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the operation of the instruments.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or medical problems.
• Safeguard patient property and health information.
• Safeguards on-site medications per company policies and legal requirements.
• Respect company property including cash and patient financial information.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
