UCF Lake Nona Hospital in Orlando is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform a variety of ultrasound examinations (general, OB/GYN, vascular) while following ACR protocols and radiologist guidelines. You will operate ultrasound equipment, manage PACS workflows, and assist radiologists during procedures as required.
The role requires ARDMS (RVT preferred), a vocational imaging education, and at least 1 year of experience, with BCLS certification to be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying high frequency sound waves for the purpose performing general, OB/GYN, and vascular ultrasound to detect pathology. Operates the Ultrasound equipment, follows ACR protocols, and radiologists guidelines to produce diagnostic exams. Responsible for workflow including PACS to obtain a permanent record of the examination and assist in the daily operating of the Imaging Services Department. Uses sterile techniques with all procedures requiring it and assists the radiologist with procedures when a physician’s presence is required.
