Job summary

HCA Florida Kendall Hospital in Miami is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound, operate equipment, and ensure high-quality images are captured. You will upload studies to PACS and support the ultrasound department’s daily operations to maintain efficient patient care.

Required credentials include RDMS or RDMS-OB/GYN or RDMS-Abdomen, BCLS within 30 days of start date, and completion of a vocational school program.

Qualifications

• RDMS or RDMS-OB/GYN or RDMS-Abdomen certification required.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Experience operating ultrasound equipment and uploading studies to PACS.

• Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment and optimize image quality.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic procedures using ultrasound imaging to detect and evaluate pathology. You will operate and adjust ultrasound equipment, ensure high-quality images are captured, and upload studies to PACS. In addition, you will support the daily operations of the Ultrasound Department, contributing to efficient workflow and high standards of patient care.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Vocational School Graduate

• (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or (RDMS-OB/GYN) RDMS Obstetrics & Gynecology, or (RDMS-AB) RDMS Abdomen Specialty
