Job summary

HCA Florida Mercy Hospital in Miami, FL is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging, operate and adjust equipment, and ensure high-quality images are captured and uploaded to PACS.

You will support the daily operations of the Ultrasound Department, contribute to efficient workflow, and uphold high standards of patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 30 days of start date.
• RDMS certification required or actively pursuing certification.
• Associate Degree or Certificate in sonography or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging to detect pathology.
• Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment for high-quality images.
• Upload studies to PACS and ensure proper documentation.
• Support the daily operations of the Ultrasound Department.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic procedures using ultrasound imaging to detect and evaluate pathology. You will operate and adjust ultrasound equipment, ensure high-quality images are captured, and upload studies to PACS. In addition, you will support the daily operations of the Ultrasound Department, contributing to efficient workflow and high standards of patient care.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
• Associate Degree, or Certificate
