Job summary

New York Imaging (NYI) is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform routine and diagnostic mammography procedures at our Brooklyn location. You will assist with stereotactic biopsies, manage supplies, and ensure high-quality imaging while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.

The role requires ARRT licensure, at least one year of mammography experience, and strong communication and organizational skills. Daytime weekday availability and English proficiency are essential; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Mammography.

• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Availability to work daytime weekday hours.

Responsibilities

Mammography Technologist

Location: 9711 3rd Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11209, NY

Organization: New York Imaging (NYI)

In This Role, You Will

• Perform routine and diagnostic mammography procedures.


• Assist with stereotactic biopsies.


• Track inventory and manage supply orders.


• Provide courteous and professional explanations of procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation.


• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.


• Adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors and produce accurate, high-quality images.

We Require

• A minimum of one year of continuous experience in Mammography.


• Licensed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
