Prime Healthcare is looking for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist at Bridgton Hospital in Bridgton, ME. This Per Diem position requires demonstrated competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in technical and diagnostic scans. You will be responsible for positioning patients and equipment to produce appropriate recordings.

Qualified applicants must hold RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification and a current BCLS certificate. Prior experience is preferred, and proficiency in computer skills is essential.

Qualifications

• RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body region required within 90 days of hire.
• Graduate from an accredited ultrasound program or current certification and graduation within 90 days of hire.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. The technologist positions patient and equipment and produces an appropriate recording. The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
