Prime Healthcare is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join our Diagnostic Ultrasound department at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. This Per Diem position involves performing various ultrasound exams and ensuring accurate technical and diagnostic imaging.

Responsibilities

Ultrasound Technologist / Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) demonstrates competency in performing all general and vascular ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. Positions patient and equipment and produces an appropriate recording. The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Qualifications

• RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required within 90 days of hire and maintain.
• Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
• Proficient computer skills.
