Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME seeks an Ultrasound Technologist/Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) for a per diem role. You will perform general and vascular ultrasound exams, position patients and equipment, and ensure images are recorded and transmitted to PACS.

Certification in RDMS/ARDMS or S/ARRT within 90 days is required, with BCLS maintained. Per diem shifts are variable and depend on patient needs.

Responsibilities

Ultrasound Technologist / Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) demonstrates competency in performing all general and vascular ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. Positions patient and equipment and produces an appropriate recording. The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required within 90 days of hire and maintain.
• Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
• Proficient computer skills

Pay Transparency

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $38.00 to $47.51. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
