Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is looking for a Radiology Technologist II in Bridgton, ME. You'll perform various diagnostic imaging procedures and ensure quality service to patients, while also participating in performance improvement initiatives and overseeing operations in the absence of management. Qualified candidates must have the necessary licensure, one year of experience in Acute Clinical Radiography, and current BLS certification. This position offers flexible shifts and an assignment length of 12 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures per department protocols.
• Serves as the primary point of contact for patients.
• Participates in Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Control (QC) activities.
• Maintains department supplies and equipment.
• Oversees radiology operations and/or staff in the absence of management.
• Promotes teamwork and excellent customer service.
• Processes and transmits images to PACS.

Skills

Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State

National certifications in two modalities

Current BLS certification

Familiar with State and Federal regulations

1 year of Acute Clinical Radiography experience

Graduate of ARRT accredited program

Proficient computer skills

Overview

Position: Radiology Technologist II

Location: Bridgton, ME

Department: Radiology Diagnostic

Shifts Available: Nights and Days

Pay: up to $1,492.40 – $2,087.20 gross per week

Assignment Length: 12 weeks

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures (X‑ray, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, and Special Procedures) per department protocols
• Serves as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring quality service and care
• Participates in Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Control (QC) activities
• Assists with maintaining the department Performance Improvement Program
• Oversees radiology operations and/or staff in the absence of the Manager/Director
• Maintains department supplies, equipment, and assigned sub‑department inventory
• Supports scheduling for assigned sub‑departments
• Promotes teamwork and excellent customer service
• Processes and transmits images to PACS

Qualifications

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• Effective July 1, 2017 appropriate national certifications in two modalities required.
• Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain current.
• Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• One year of Acute Clinical Radiography required.
• Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.
• Proficient computer skills.
