Job summary

Los Robles Regional Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasonic imaging in OB/GYN, abdomen, neurosonology, or peripheral vascular areas. This role supports the Radiology team and may assist during biopsies, with opportunities to contribute to high-quality diagnostic work.

Qualified candidates hold RDMS in ABD/OBGYN and neurosurgery, current BLS, and have completed an accredited Ultrasound Tech Program.

Qualifications

  • RDMS certifications in ABD, OBGYN, and neurosurgery required.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Tech Program.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain information about internal organs, fluid accumulations, disease diagnosis, and prenatal examinations.
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures with knowledge of relevant technical and academic areas to produce high-quality examinations.
  • Assist Radiologist during biopsies and handle non-technical duties such as clerical, transportation, and reception when available.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As the Ultrasound Technologist you will performs Ultrasonic imaging and related procedures in one of the following areas: OB/GYN, Abdomen, Neurosonology or Peripheral Vascular. If that is you, come be a part of what makes us great and apply today!

  • You will obtain information about internal organs, fluid accumulations, disease diagnosis, study of malfunction of organs, prenatal examination of fetuses and placenta, amongst others
  • You will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures with knowledge of all pertinent technical and academic areas to produce consistent high-quality ultrasound examinations
  • You will assist the Radiologist during biopsies, and assume responsibilities for non-technical duties of Radiology when available, such as clerical, transportation, and reception
What qualifications you will need:
  • Advanced certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS) in the categories of ABD, OBGYN and neurosurgery required
  • Current BLS certification
  • Must be a high school graduate or equivalent (GED)
  • Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Tech Program or equivalent
  • 1-3 years’ experience preferred
