Job summary

StoneSprings Hospital Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform established ultrasound procedures while prioritizing patient safety across all ages. The role requires pursuing professional development and adhering to department standards.

Applicants must obtain BLS within 30 days, RDMS within one year, and be a graduate of an AMA-approved Ultrasound Technology program or equivalent. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RDMS certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• Graduate of an Ultrasound Technology program approved by the AMA Council on Medical Education or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures as established by department policies and safety standards.
• Observe universal precautions and provide age-appropriate patient care from neonates to geriatrics.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing all established ultrasound procedures. Considers age-related factors in care, treatment, education and evaluation of patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics. Applies knowledge of age-related factors appropriately in accordance with professional standards and departmental policies and procedures. Perform procedures safely and observes universal precautions at all times. Pursues professional development for the continual improvement of patient care. Performs related work as required.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• Graduate of program in Ultrasound Technology approved by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association or documented equivalent education, experience, and training.
