Job summary

Los Robles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, CA, is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team. You’ll prepare the surgical suite, assist during procedures, and collaborate with skilled colleagues to ensure safe, efficient surgeries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of OR Tech course from an accredited school.
• OR Tech Certification preferred.
• Able to perform 60% of procedures.
• Current BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the surgical suite with instruments, supplies, and advanced equipment to ensure safe, seamless procedures.
• Assist with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping while prioritizing comfort, privacy, and safety.
• Scrub in and partner with the surgical team by providing instruments, handling specimens, and anticipating the team’s needs.
• Monitor patients and surgical equipment throughout procedures, responding promptly and effectively to any concerns.
• Uphold sterile technique, complete room turnover efficiently, and support a high-performing, collaborative team environment.
