Job summary

HonorHealth seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures under radiologist supervision at John C Lincoln in Phoenix, AZ. The role requires independent judgment, patient care, and adherence to safety protocols in a busy imaging department.

Responsibilities include performing abdominal, OB/GYN, and small parts ultrasounds, acquiring quality images, and supporting physicians during procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound techniques and examinations including abdominal, OB/GYN, and small parts with appropriate technical factors.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures and transports patients as needed.
• Acquires digital images, evaluates quality, and assists physicians in diagnostic procedures.
• Coordinates daily workflow, rotates locations, and maintains equipment and quality control testing.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and stocked work area and participates in staff training.

Education
