Assumes responsibility for tasks or procedures as assigned. Performs data entry operations using appropriate hospital software package. Staff member may be required to provide coverage at various locations in the network. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS* Performs ultrasound techniques and examination; including but not limited to abdominal, OB/GYN, and small parts, by selecting proper technical factors on individual patient basis and observes patient during procedure to ensure patient's safety and comfort. Transports patient to and from exam room/table, prepares and maintains room. Acquires digital images and evaluates for technical quality. Assists physician in diagnostic procedures and with administering medications.* Assists in coordination of daily workflow for the department’s activities.* Maintains equipment in efficient operating order. Performs and documents all required quality control testing.
