Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, GA, is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and related procedures on neonatal to geriatric patients. You will operate ultrasound equipment, uphold safety standards, and collaborate with radiologists.

The ideal candidate has an AMA or JRCERT accredited program, 2 years of experience, and ARDMS in two specialties, with BCLS on hire. Weekend schedule Fri-Sun, 7:00a-7:30p; competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited program.
• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience.
• ARDMS registered in at least 2 specialties upon hire.
• BCLS certification upon hire.
• RVS or RVT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures.
• Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
• Provides patient care to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.

Responsibilities

Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.
