Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonography professional to operate ultrasound equipment, perform diagnostic exams, and assist with invasive procedures. You will provide patient care across age groups and collaborate with radiology staff to ensure accurate results.

Requirements include graduation from an AMA/JRCERT accredited program, 2 years of experience, and ARDMS registration in two specialties plus BCLS. This full-time role is based in Fayetteville, GA.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 2 years of ultrasound experience required.
• ARDMS registered in at least 2 specialties; BCLS required; RVS/RVT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures per established standards and practices.
• Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
• Provides patient care to all age groups (neonatal, pediatrics, adult, geriatrics) and communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.
