Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Tech for day shifts to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and related procedures. You will operate ultrasound equipment, ensure high-quality patient care across all age groups, and communicate closely with radiologists and staff.

The role requires ARDMS certification in at least two specialties, an AMA/JRCERT accredited education, and at least two years of experience. BCLS is required and vascular specialties are a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 2 years of experience required.
• ARDMS registered in at least 2 specialties; BCLS required; RVS or RVT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.
• Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
• Provides patient care to all age groups including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
• Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.

Schedule: Monday- Friday, 4:00p-11:30p
