UNC Health in Smithfield, NC is seeking a diagnostic medical sonographer. The role performs a range of ultrasound exams including OB/GYN, vascular, and abdominal studies, with emphasis on accuracy of images and preliminary findings. You will collaborate with clinicians, manage patient scheduling, and maintain PACS data integrity.

Rotating days, 7:00am–7:00pm, with a $15,000 commitment incentive paid over three years. Requires RDMS eligibility or active status and BLS certification.

Formación

• Completion of a 12-month program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or General Ultrasound.
• RDMS registration or eligibility with ARDMS requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams (OB/GYN, vascular, abdomen, small parts) and document findings.
• Ensure safe procedure environment and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Collaborate with team for patient flow and review prior studies for correlation.
• Produce accurate images and preliminary impressions; support final diagnosis with physicians.
• Provide ultrasound guidance for procedures as needed.
