Job summary

ProMedica's Monroe Regional Hospital is seeking a Registered Sonographer for a per diem role in the Ultrasound department. You will perform ultrasound procedures, educate patients about the exam, and support the physician with ultrasound-guided procedures.

You may train or evaluate new or student sonographers as part of the team, ensuring quality imaging and patient safety while delivering compassionate care in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Must be ARDMS registered and maintain active status.
• Must have attended an approved diagnostic ultrasound school or equivalent.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures.
• Educate the patient about the procedure.
• Assist the physician with ultrasound-guided procedures.

It should not be considered exhaustive.REQUIREMENTSMust have attended an approved school of diagnostic ultrasound or have the equivalent experience accepted by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical SonographersMust be registered as a diagnostic sonographer by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and must maintain active registry status.
