Job summary

ProMedica is seeking an Echo Tech in Toledo, OH, for a part-time role in the Cardiac Testing Center. You will perform diagnostic ultrasounds to support physicians in diagnosing illnesses and injuries, while informing patients and families about the procedure to ensure comfort and understanding.

You will play a key role in delivering clinical excellence to ProMedica patients and supporting the Cardiac Testing Center team.

Qualifications

• Must have attended an approved school of diagnostic ultrasound or have equivalent experience.
• Must be registered with ARDMS and maintain active status; if not registered, register within one year.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

As an Echo Tech, you will assist ProMedica physicians with the diagnosis and treatment of illness and injuries by performing diagnostic ultrasounds.

You will inform patients about their procedure and ensure they – and their loved ones – understand and feel comfortable about their procedure. You will play a key role in providing clinical excellence to ProMedica patients.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have attended an approved school of diagnostic ultrasound or have the equivalent experience accepted by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
• Must be registered as a diagnostic sonographer by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and must maintain active registry status. If not registered, must become registered within one year
