Job summary

ProMedica Central Physicians in Toledo, OH seeks a Sonographer specializing in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. You will perform specialized ultrasound exams to assess fetal well-being and assist physicians during ultrasound-guided procedures.

The role requires RDMS registration (or eligible) and BLS certification, with prior diagnostic ultrasound training. Clinical instruction of students may be involved; 40-hour workweek, day shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have attended an approved school of diagnostic ultrasound or equivalent experience.
• Must have current RDMS registration or equivalent training; registry eligible with 6 months to hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized ultrasounds to assess fetal well-being in pregnant women.
• Assist Maternal Fetal Medicine Physicians in ultrasound-guided procedures.
• Prepare patients for exams and position to obtain best images.
• Participate in clinical instruction of students as needed.

It should not be considered exhaustive.REQUIREMENTSMust have attended an approved school of diagnostic ultrasound or have had the equivalent experience accepted by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical SonographersMust have current registration as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) granted by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or equivalent training that is accepted by the ARMDS or must be registry eligible. Registry eligible sonographers must successfully complete all requirements within 6 months of hire date.
