Job summary

ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital is seeking a Registered Sonographer for a per diem, variable shift role in Monroe, MI. You will perform ultrasound procedures, educate patients, and assist physicians with ultrasound-guided interventions.

Job Summary: A Registered Sonographer can play a key role in assisting the physician in diagnosing and treating a patient at ProMedica. You will perform ultrasound procedures, educate the patient about the procedure, and answer any questions they or their family might have. In this role, you will help the physician with physician-performed ultrasound-guided procedures and may train/educate/evaluate new or student sonographers. REQUIREMENTS

• Must have attended an approved school of diagnostic ultrasound or have the equivalent experience accepted by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
• Must be registered as a diagnostic sonographer by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and must maintain active registry status.
• ARDMS renewal must be completed within 30 days prior to its expiration.
