Job summary

System Support is seeking an ultrasound technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional ultrasound procedures per established protocols. The role coordinates patient flow within the Ultrasound Department and ensures equipment is maintained.

The candidate may perform other imaging modalities as needed and may have on-call duties. Required credentials include ARDMS or ARRT, and vascular registry (ARDMS RVT or CCI RVS).

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Ultrasonography or related allied health field.
• Professional credentials in ultrasound required (ARDMS or ARRT).
• Vascular credentialing (ARDMS RVT or CCI RVS) required at hire or within 6 months at specified locations.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures and ultrasound-directed interventional procedures.
• Coordinates patient flow and activities of the Ultrasound Department.
• Maintains equipment and uses professional judgment; may perform other imaging modalities as needed.
• On-call responsibilities may be required.
