Job summary

System Support is seeking an Ultrasound Tech for the Medical Imaging unit at Miami Valley South, performing diagnostic ultrasound and interventional procedures. The role requires ARDMS/ARRT credentials, vascular specialization, and CPR within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient flow, maintaining equipment, and supporting radiologists with procedures. The candidate should have an associate degree in ultrasonography and 2 years of ultrasound experience, with strong

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Ultrasonography or equivalent
• ARDMS/ARRT credential required
• Vascular credential (RVT or RVS) required or by CCI
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire
• Minimum one additional registry in Abdomen, OB/GYN, Musculoskeletal, Neurosonology or Breast

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound and interventional procedures per protocols
• Coordinate patient flow and department operations
• Maintain equipment and perform quality checks
• Assist Radiologist during procedures and emergencies
• Educate patients about procedures and expectations
• Document and manage records and clerical tasks
• Ensure infection control and radiation safety compliance
