Job summary

Premier Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technician in Medical Imaging to independently perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and ultrasound-guided interventions, following established protocols and scope of practice. The role supports patient flow, ensures equipment is well-maintained, and may require on-call responsibilities.

Candidates should have ARDMS/ARRT credentials and an associate degree in ultrasonography, with 2 years of ultrasound experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in ultrasonography or allied health required.
• ARDMS or ARRT registry is required/preferred.
• Minimum 2 years ultrasound experience preferred; no prior experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic ultrasound and ultrasound-guided procedures per protocols.
• Coordinates patient flow and departmental activities.
• Maintains equipment and follows safety and infection prevention policies.
• Documents and codes procedures in EMR.
