Job summary

Premier Health's Medical Imaging unit seeks an Ultrasound Tech to independently perform diagnostic ultrasound and interventional procedures. Works within scope of practice and registries, coordinating patient flow across the Ultrasound Department. May cover on-call duties as needed.

Minimum education is an Associate degree with ARDMS/ARRT credentials. Strong skills in EMR/RIS and image storage are essential for quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Ultrasonography or Allied Health.
• ARDMS/ARRT registration required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform US procedures with diagnostic quality per protocol.
• Coordinate patient flow and department activities.
• Maintain patient records and QC of equipment.
• Assist Radiologist in procedures and emergencies.
