Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare Inc. is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and invasive procedures in accordance with established standards.

You will provide patient services across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations, while upholding quality and safety protocols. The role requires graduation from an AMA-approved sonography program or JRCERT-accredited training, with BCLS on hire and ARDMS registration within 6 months, plus vascular or breast

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program.
• In lieu of equivalent experience per IAC requirements.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required on hire.
• ARDMS registration must be obtained within 6 months; vascular sonography registration (RVT/RVS/RT(S)/RT(VS)) within 6 months; breast ultrasound registration through ARRT (BS) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic exams and routine invasive procedures per established standards.
• Provide patient services using imaging modalities and deliver care to all ages (neonatal to geriatrics).

Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services using imaging modalities. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required or
• In Lieu of equivalent experience according to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Required
