Job summary

Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound exams, position patients and equipment, and ensure high-quality recordings for interpretation. You will transmit images to PACS and support a diagnostic imaging workflow in a full-time capacity.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited ultrasound program graduate, RDMS/ARRT certification eligibility, BCLS certification, and solid computer skills; prior experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Location: 1325 N Highland Ave, Aurora IL

Responsibilities

Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. Positions patient and equipment and produce an appropriate recording. The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Graduate from an accredited Ultrasound Program or current certificate.
• RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in [Physics [SPI], and 1 Specialty exam [AB, BR, FE, OB/GYN, or PS] to be completed within one (1) year of hire and maintained throughout employment.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
• Proficient computer skills
