Job summary

SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital - Oklahoma City seeks an experienced ultrasound leader to manage daily imaging operations. You will ensure quality imaging, patient care and workflow, and oversee staff training and regulatory compliance within the Ultrasound department.

The role requires completion of a Sonography program and at least two years of experience, with a Day Shift schedule and 40 hours per week at OKC campus.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Sonography program.
• Two years experience in imaging.
• BLS HCP certification required.
• RDMS/AB, OB/GYN, or RVS/RVT ARDMS/CCI credentials acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Ensures quality imaging, patient care and work flow.
• Monitors patient documentation for timely completion and accuracy.
• Oversees quality control testing, equipment maintenance and trouble shooting.
• Serves as a resource to department staff as well as other members of the team as needed.
• Performs staff orientation, training, and coaching. Provides input to staff performance evaluations.
• Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Ensures all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
• Ensures prompt submission of all high-quality images and documents sent to PACS.
• Assists in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
