Job summary

St. Charles Health System in Bend, Oregon seeks an Ultrasound Coordinator to oversee all ultrasound studies and related procedures with minimal supervision. You will assist Radiology leadership by coordinating daily operations, quality review, staffing, patient care and equipment maintenance.

The role includes coordinating student training, leading safety/compliance efforts, and driving continuous improvement in alignment with hospital goals while delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
• Three (3) years full-time experience as a registered Ultrasound Technologist.
• Current ARDMS Registry or Registry-eligible (OB/GYN, Abdominal and Physics); OBMI license; BLS CPR.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree; additional ARDMS registries.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic/interventional ultrasound examinations per policies and protocols.
• Coordinates daily staffing and workflow within the ultrasound department.
• Oversees QA & QC testing, equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Leads orientation and training of staff, new hires, and students.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
