Job summary

FUJIFILM Sonosite in Bothell, WA, is seeking a Service Technician to perform mechanical, electrical, and systems troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on ultrasound equipment and accessories. You will work with engineering teams on failure analyses and support customer service representatives to ensure top quality service.

You will install and configure component software, perform testing, manage inventory, and help maintain a safe, organized work area in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred in a technical field.
• Minimum 1 year repair or preventive maintenance experience on electrical/electro-mechanical devices.
• Experience in the medical device industry is a plus.
• Proficient fault isolation techniques for digital and analog circuitry.
• Oracle or similar business system experience desired.
• Good communication and MS Office familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and mechanical devices.
• Perform preventive maintenance and locate root causes by observing devices in operation.
• Source parts and evaluate alternatives for cost and reliability.
• Follow safety policies and maintain 5S and housekeeping practices.
• Install and configure component software.
• Perform final functional testing to ensure quality and reliability.
• Handle inventory transactions and ensure accuracy.
• Create Non-Conformance Reports and follow Return to Vendor processes.
• Calibrate equipment.
• Cross-train in operational processes.
