Job summary

Corewell Health in Clarkston, MI is seeking a Full-time Ultrasound Technologist in the OB department to perform accurate ultrasound exams with modern imaging equipment, applying independent judgment and following patient-centered care policies.

The role requires ARDMS or RDCS/RCS/VT credentials, BLS/ CPR, and an associate degree or equivalent, with 1 year experience preferred. You will collaborate with clinicians to produce high-quality images for interpretation.

Qualifications

• Requires ARDMS/ARDMS-based certifications for various sonography modalities.
• Associates degree or equivalent and completion of an approved diagnostic ultrasound program.
• BLS certification required upon hire (AHA or ARC).

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate ultrasound exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment.
• Demonstrate independent judgment and provide high-quality images for interpretation.
• Follow Corewell Health/ Spectrum accreditations and patient-centered care policies.

Job description

FULL TIME-DAYS DEPT-OB Site: Clarkston Scope to Work Under site designate leader, and according to established policies and procedures performs accurate and efficient Ultrasound exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation. Follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Qualifications Required

• associate's degree or equivalent Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent.
• Minimal as gained at student level.
• Required CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required
• Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
• CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography EXCLUDE Cardiac 1 Year required
