Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an Ultrasonic NDT Level II inspector for on-site work on Merritt Island, FL. You will perform ultrasonic inspections of flight-critical parts and assemblies, interpret results, and document findings to ensure part integrity and life span.

The role requires hands-on NDT, capability to read drawings, and collaboration with engineers to meet strict aerospace standards. Overtime and offshift work may be required to meet critical deadlines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Level 2 experience in ultrasonics.
• Pass Ultrasonic General Test and Specific Test by week 3.
• 80 hours of Phased Array Training.
• NAS-410 compliance with ultrasound and phased arrays.
• Meet vision and color perception requirements.
• Familiar with ASTM E164, E2700, E2375 standards.
• Able to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with MS Office required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain techniques for hardware examination per safety/spec requirements.
• Perform inspections using Ultrasonic equipment.
• Interpret inspection results and apply acceptance criteria.
• Document and organize inspection results.
• Interface with engineers/managers to discuss results.
