Job summary

Blue Origin in Florida is seeking a skilled Nondestructive Testing technician to perform ultrasonic inspections of flight-critical hardware. The role focuses on developing and applying ultrasonic inspection techniques while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with NAS-410 standards.

You will work with engineers and production teams, interpret results, document findings, and contribute to part integrity and lifespan assurance in a challenging aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Level 2 experience in ultrasonics.
• Must be able to pass Ultrasonic General Test and Specific Test by week 3.
• 80 hours of Phased Array Training.
• Qualified to certify to level II per NAS-410 in Ultrasound with 800+ hours.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain techniques to properly examine hardware.
• Perform inspections using Ultrasonic equipment.
• Interpret inspection results and apply acceptance criteria.
• Documentation and organization of inspection results.
• Interface with Engineers/Managers to describe inspection results.
