Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an experienced Nondestructive Testing professional focused on ultrasonic inspection of spaceflight hardware. The role supports the Manufacturing and Supply Chain functions, ensuring part integrity and life span through rigorous NDT methods.

The candidate must have Level II ultrasound certification, NAS-410 training, and 800 hours of documented ultrasound experience. Shift options include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd among other responsibilities in a collaborative spaceflight

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Level 2 experience in ultrasonics.
• Must pass Ultrasonic General Test and Specific Test by week 3.
• Must meet NAS-410 training requirements in Ultrasound.
• Qualify to certify to Level II status per NAS-410 with at least 800 hours of documented experience.
• Meet minimum vision requirements: 20/25 or better.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain techniques to examine hardware per safety and spec requirements.
• Perform inspections using Ultrasonic equipment.
• Interpret inspection results and apply acceptance criteria from drawings or work orders.
• Documentation and organization of inspection results.
• Interface with Engineers/Managers to describe inspection results.
