Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Nondestructive Testing Technician specialized in Ultrasonic inspection of flight-critical hardware. The role focuses on development and production NDT methods, ensuring part integrity and longevity for spaceflight components.

You will apply ultrasonic techniques, calibrate equipment, and interpret results while collaborating with engineers and managers to meet stringent safety and quality standards. Aerospace experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Level 2 experience in ultrasonics.
• Must pass Ultrasonic General Test and Specific Test by week 3.
• Must meet NAS-410 training requirements in Ultrasound.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with MS Office products.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain techniques to examine hardware per safety and specification requirements.
• Perform inspections using Ultrasonic equipment.
• Interpret inspection results and apply acceptance criteria from drawings or shop orders.
• Document inspection results and organize data.
• Interface with Engineers/Managers to describe inspection results.
