Job summary

Blue Origin seeks an experienced Nondestructive Testing professional to perform ultrasonic inspections on composite flight hardware and test samples. You will develop and apply UT methods, interpret results, and document findings with engineers and managers.

Role involves working shifts, overtime as needed, and requires ability to read blueprints and operate MS Office tools. Priority is safety, quality, and inclusion as we support spaceflight missions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Level 2 experience in ultrasonics.
• Must be able to pass Ultrasonic General and Specific Tests by week 3.
• Minimum NAS-410 training in Ultrasound.
• Able to certify to NAS-410 Level II in Ultrasound with 800 hours documented.
• Able to read blueprints and schematics.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends and off shifts as needed.
• Experience in lab and field NDT environments.
• U.S. citizen or eligible for work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain nondestructive testing techniques per safety and specifications.
• Perform inspections using Ultrasonic equipment.
• Interpret inspection results and apply acceptance criteria from drawings/work orders.
• Document and organize inspection results.
• Communicate inspection results to Engineers/Managers.
