Job summary

MSR-FSR in Wilson, NC, seeks a QA/QC professional to lead quality control inspections of Process Piping in a cleanroom environment. You will verify fabrication and installation per project specs, witness pressure tests, and ensure documentation is complete.

You will review QA plans, ITPs, PQRs, and weld maps, maintain traceability logs, and ensure all inspectors are qualified. Familiarity with B31.3 and ASME Section 9, plus CWI certification, are required.

Qualifications

• Complete understanding of semiconductor process systems, including ultra-high purity stainless steel piping.
• Read and interpret P&IDs; familiarity with B31.3 and ASME Section 9.
• CWI certification and at least 3 years' experience in quality inspections.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate compliance of OSHA, EPA and local regs for piping installations.
• Inspect fabricated/installed piping, mechanical equipment, welds, and components per specs.
• Witness pressure tests, NDT, visual and borescope inspections; prepare reports.
• Review QPs, ITPs, PQR, WPS/WPQ, and weld maps; ensure traceability and records.
• Maintain NCRs, Surveillance Reports, and log welding qualifications.
• Participate in turnover packages and ensure subcontractor welders are qualified.
