Job summary

MSR-FSR is seeking a QA/QC Mechanical professional to oversee quality assurance and inspections of mechanical systems within data-center environments. You will perform walks, ensure compliance with industry standards, coordinate with contractors, and document QA processes throughout project lifecycles.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience in mechanical QA, familiarity with SMACNA, and proficiency with MS Office and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ Mechanical QA experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Data Centers, Semiconductor or industrial exp.
• Journeyman experience preferred.
• Must be able to read P&ID (Piping/Mechanical and Instrumentation Diagrams).
• Familiarity with SMACNA standards.
• Proficient with MS Office, Bluebeam, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial, follow up, and final system walk downs.
• Work with contractors and subcontractors to ensure procedures are met.
• Inspect plumbing, HVAC, PVC, and PVDF per regulations and standards.
• Inspect hydro related systems.
• Record and organize QA documentation for the QA program.
• Complete all QA documentation and reports for the project.
• Formulate reports on work progress and QA status.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to plan project activities and safety.
• Represent company in pre-construction and design meetings; attend operations meetings.
• Perform final QA inspection on installations.
• Provide technical verification of hardware and installations per design documents.
• Ensure equipment and overall system OAT/FAT process meets expectations.
