Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking a technically skilled professional to support product testing and certification projects. You will conduct evaluations, coordinate lab testing, and ensure UL standards compliance while working closely with clients.

You will manage project timelines, prepare reports, and provide technical guidance throughout the certification process, including coordinating lab activities and communicating progress to clients.

Qualifications

• Recent graduates with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or electrical engineering are encouraged to apply.
• Internship, co-op, or project experience in a relevant field is preferred, demonstrating hands‑on technical exposure and the ability to work effectively with customers and cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Determine project scope, develop a preliminary plan of investigation, and determine project specifications (cost, time, samples) by analyzing client input and data.
• Travel to conduct or witness tests at client sites and initiate communication with clients to promote services.
• Follow hybrid model with a minimum of three days in the office each week.
• Communicate with clients to discuss technical issues, UL procedures, and project costs/samples; negotiate completion dates.
• Provide technical assistance in reference to product inspection and follow-up services, reviewing files and manufacturer information.
