Job summary

Qualifications

• University degree in Electrical engineering.
• Prior engineering experience preferred.
• Experience with fire and smoke detection, access control, and fire alarm control panels (preferred)
• Customer-facing experience required.
• Ability to use MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Determines project scope, develops a preliminary plan of investigation, and determines project specifications by analyzing client input, available data, and product construction.
• Projects may include travel to conduct or witness tests at client sites and initiate communication with clients to promote services.
• Follows up on contacts from clients and discusses technical issues, UL procedures, and project costs with clients.
• Coordinates laboratory activities by preparing data sheets and instructions to technicians, scheduling work, and establishing completion dates.
• May serve as Project Handler or Reviewer and communicate project status through reports and meetings.
