Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking a Field Engineering professional to conduct safety and non-safety certification inspections and field evaluations at client sites. The role involves interpreting test results, verifying equipment accuracy, and maintaining detailed records of outcomes and time expenses.

You will travel to manufacturing facilities and interact with customers and manufacturers to explain UL policies and the benefits of our services, supporting a globally recognized safety mission.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Performs safety and non-safety certification inspections and field evaluations per performance standards.
• Analyzes examination and test results against applicable requirements.
• Interprets and analyzes results against UL requirements, verifies accuracy of measuring equipment.
• Communicates with manufacturers and customers to conduct inspections and promote UL services.
• Uses instruments to perform inspections (micrometers, voltmeters, ammeters) and ensures calibration of equipment.
• Documents examination, variations and test results on UL forms and maintains inspection logs.
