Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of payroll processing experience, multi-state experience a plus.
• Knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for 600+ employees across multiple states.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Process and reconcile payroll data, including earnings, deductions, benefits, and taxes.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records in HRIS and payroll systems.
• Handle payroll audits and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare and submit tax filings (W-2s, 1099s).
• Stay updated on changes to payroll laws and implement updates.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure data integrity.
• Assist with system upgrades, implementations, and process improvements.
